During the summer, customer were also able to purchase a selection of our images from Hopetoun House which we may repeat in 2018. And of course, some transactions were made through our website.

We're delighted to announce that the luxurious Ballathie House Hotel which sits on the banks of the River Tay, near Stanley in Perthshire has chosen to hang a number of our custom framed images on their walls.

Mr. Milligan, the owner of Ballathie Estates visited our gallery to personally select images printed on our finest silver halide paper & framed in hand finished, 24 carat gold leaf; fitting indeed for such a fine country retreat in one of Scotland's most picturesque regions.

We've dined & indeed stayed at Ballathie House ourselves & have been delighted with the warm reception, fine accomodation & award winning food.

1st February 2017

If you haven't already visited our gallery at the Town House, we now have an even bigger selection of framed & unframed, silver halide photographic prints of Scotland's fabulous landscape & ancient built heritage. Currently on display are three signature images printed on Hannemule Fine Art Baryta paper, measuring almost 4 feet wide. And as before, we also have a large selection of matted prints starting at just £15.00.

We've recently been commissioned to photograph several period buildings in Fife. If you have an interesting property in mind that you would like to have us professionally photograph, please get in touch for a no obligation quote. And don't forget that we can custom print & frame to any size & specification your heart desires.

Now that the darkest Winter days are over & Spring is beginning to show its hand, now is a perfect time to explore Culross before the busy summer season is upon us.

See you soon,

20th November 2016

While there may be only a few days left before Christmas 2016, we can announce already that we have reached an arrangement with the National Trust for Scotland & will be open throughout 2017 at The Town House in Culross, Fife.

However, we're planning to take most of January off. We'll be using this window of opportunity to create new work by focusing for example, on Fife's ancient fishing villages as well as covering several "Outlander" locations including Preston Mill near Edinburgh & Culloden near Inverness.

So it looks like the 1st of February will be our grand re-opening day when we hope to present new work, especially to those who have already visited the gallery.

Meanwhile, have a Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year.

I've temporarily closed me courtyard gallery as I'll be leaving for Washington DC next week to meet with Dr. Jemsek MD for the third time as I continue to battle the chronic effects of a complex Lyme disease infection.

Upon my return, I hope to be showing my work out of the Town Hall in the heart of Culross.

See you soon,

Some of you will already be aware, I've been battling a complex & chronic Lyme disease infection since late 2013 which has for most of the last two and a half years caused massive neurological & physical problems, too numerous & depressing to list here. Consequently there hasn't been much news to celebrate of late.

Regrettably, the inept infectious diseases doctors at Ninewells Hospital in Dundee were as empathetic as a concentration camp cook & simultaneously as useful as an ashtray on a motorbike. However, I returned from Washington, DC in May after my second consultation with renowned Lyme disease expert, Dr. Joseph Jemsek MD who is convinced I'll make a reasonable recovery but that it will take another two years & an awful lot of pharmaceutical drugs. The drugs are available right here in Scotland but the NHS, for reasons unexplained, won't prescribe them.

In the USA, the medical costs for those without insurance is the largest single cause of bankruptcy. So far I've had to spend about $15,000 on medical costs despite having paid taxes to the the NHS via the British Exchequer for years.

So I am pleased to announce that I have a small selection of my work on display & for sale right outside my house in the medieval courtyard.
